The design of the mosque is blend of modern and Islamic architecture. The project explores traditional Islamic geometric patterns with a range of differentiated scales of perforations to create striking light and shadow patterns referring traditional and local values. Creating a sense of sustainability had always been a major challenge in mosque architecture.
